How to measure the temperature of
YTC series gear reducers Due to work requirements, it is inevitable that practitioners need to master some methods for measuring temperature in order to handle emergencies in case of high temperatures.
1. Determination of working temperature
The measurement of temperature rise of YTC series gear reducers is usually carried out simultaneously with the measurement of their load capacity and transmission efficiency, or separately. When the tested YTC series gear reducers meet the requirements, the working temperature at rated speed and rated input power is read.
2. Measurement of Environmental Temperature
Place a thermometer 1.5m away from the surface of the tested YTC series gear reducer. The height of the thermometer measuring point from the ground should be equal to the axis of the reducer. The placement of the thermometer should not be affected by external radiation heat and airflow. The reading of the ambient temperature value and the reading of the working temperature value should be carried out simultaneously.
Once the YTC series gear reducer experiences excessive temperature, it is necessary to immediately stop the operation of the equipment and conduct a comprehensive inspection. This is the only way to effectively ensure that the equipment will not malfunction and affect its efficiency and lifespan.
