What is a reducer?

The working principle of a reducer is to achieve speed and torque conversion between the input shaft and the output shaft through gear transmission.
The main components of the gearbox include the input shaft,output shaft,gear set,and housing.The input shaft is connected to an external power source(such as a motor)through a connecting device,while the output shaft is connected to the equipment that needs to be driven.
When the external power source is activated,the input shaft drives the gear set to rotate.A gear set consists of multiple gears,including a driving gear and a driven gear.The driving gear is directly connected to the input shaft,and the driven gear is connected to the output shaft.
Through the meshing of gears,the rotational motion of the input shaft is transmitted to the driven gear,thereby driving the output shaft to rotate.Due to the different sizes and number of teeth of the gears,the speed and torque of the input shaft of the reducer will be amplified or reduced through gear transmission,thereby achieving the conversion of speed and torque.
The working principle of a reducer can achieve different output effects,such as speed increase,speed decrease,and reverse rotation,based on different combinations of gears and transmission ratios.According to specific application requirements,different gear combinations and transmission ratios can be selected to achieve the desired output effect.
